Favorite scents… π·π·πͺ»ππ²
(I know, asking my blog readers a question is kinda a joke, but I’ll at least give it a try!π )
This is, like, so my favorite body sprays! *Shout out to My sweet sister Grace for the beautiful bottle of Gingham Gorgeous for my birthday!* π©·π©·π©·✨
Here’s a little Hartinger girl story from a few weeks ago:
Hope, Grace & I are in the grocery store doing the “squeeze test” on the avocados…π₯
Suddenly a lady walks over and says, “Oh my! I don’t know what you girls are wearing but it smells so good!!!”
We all give our thanks.
A few minutes later:
Grace- “I’m sure she was smelling my Clinique Happy Heart perfume!”
Me: (Taking a twirl down the aisle, because we dance in stores…) “No doubt it was my Gingham Gorgeous!”
Hope (being the picture of propriety that she is) remained silent. π
The end.
Aww, you’re welcome, Faith! π₯° Glad you like it! But, it definitely was my Clinique Happy Heart perfume! Studies have proven that 95% of people who smell it, feel happy! ☺️ Anyway, that’s my top favorite smell, then Gingham, sweet sunrise, anything mahogany, cedar, pine, etc… ☺️
ReplyDeleteYes, I know that you like pine and mahogany smells… especially when it’s similar to, like guy cologne! π
DeleteThanks for sharing, my dear!! π©·π·π₯°
There’s nothing wrong with liking the smell of guy cologne! My husband will always have some on! π
DeleteI never said that I didn’t like the smell of guy cologne, my dear! It’s great for guys and NOT for me personally. π
DeleteLol! Love the story! Sounds like you guys!! You all do smell good though!π
ReplyDeleteI like almost all the similar smells too!!
Awww… I love the smell of you! Haha! π·π©·π©΅
DeleteI know you like the smell of vanilla ice cream! π
I love the smell of new books and magazines, although these days I mostly read online or e-books, so I miss out in that respect.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I definitely would have to agree with that too! π π
DeleteIt’s an amazing smell. When I got my new Bible from my Dad 5 years ago I had to just keep smelling it over & over! Till this day it still has that “new book smell!” π
Freshly dried laundry (mostly cotton), barn smells like hay or a horse muzzle, puppy's (like very young puppies). New AND old books. Coffee. There's a scent from Avon called Haiku I used to wear but it's hard to find. I also like this one scent from Chanel but it's too expensive for me to buy. Maybe one day :) I also have a habit of smelling pretty much anything I open , lol ( like packages from Amazon and yes, letters from you all π heehee
ReplyDeleteYeah, I love the smell of horses!!! I know some people don’t like it, but it makes me feel really happy! ❤️
DeleteAw, haha! That’s funny. I’ve been in a habit of spraying my letters with perfume before I send them out, but I don’t think I sprayed you and the kid’s though! Oops! π Thank you for sharing your feedback. π©΅
I know you have before but not sure if you did this last time. :) it's okay though
DeleteWell, I do recall remarking a little later and saying, “I think it was a combination of all three of us!” ;) haha I’m sure it was. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with MJ, new books! Oh my, yes! and Bibles. π©΅π©΅π©΅
Also: wind song, Japanese cherry blossom, farm animals, roses (and anything flowers! ), bon fires, fresh mountain wind and rain, hay, leather, good food, and all things feminine and lovely! :D
Oh, I had forgotten! π
DeleteWe got rather distracted by running into some relatives so it’s all kinda fuzzzy! Yes, great smells…. Not the biggest fan of wind song! Haha! It’s great for you though! π©΅π©·
New pointe shoe glue, new leotards and costumes, old ballet studios, roses, new cars, Versace crystal perfume.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the lists.
Oh, how spectacular! π·π©· π©°
DeleteWhat neat things… thank you for sharing! I’ve never heard of that perfume before. π
Oh yes! New pointe shoe glue! I’m always burying my nose in my new Capezio pointe shoes!
