“I love you”

So, what’s going on? Was last week international tell Faith Hartinger that you love her… when in fact, you don’t?

It’s really freaking me out.

I used to have no problem (necessarily) believing these three precious words. Why should I doubt it when you said it to me?

But one day… I came to the cruel realization: these words are said more than they are meant. And that… hurts.

“I love you” can ‘soften’ the blow of the actions that scream I hate you.

“I love you” has a way of covering up real motives.

“I love you” does that make up for everything I’ve done in the past?

I’ve never read the whoremongers handbook 101, but I’m fairly certain that the number one tip is to tell the girl, “I love you.” (Even when your motives are merely to add another person to “the girls I’ve conquered” list.)

It’s getting hard to believe.

Apparently, the way I see love isn’t the same as the way you see it.

Love is more than words. It’s more than “I said it, that’s enough.”

  2. I can understand some of this.
We should not allow people to corrupt these words though. They still hold power, value and worth. Sorry for hardships, Sister.

    1. Of course, I know. Those words can’t ever be ruined. Thanks for sharing your opinion. And don’t apologize, it’s not your fault.
Btw: I got rid of my one post because I didn’t like it being my most popular post. Not particularly to you though!
