Large family life and homeschooler life…

Hi everyone! My sister Grace did an excellent post here, that I can certainly relate to!
But, don’t get me wrong, growing up in a large family was one of the most amazing things ever!
(I mean, 9 kids isn’t a HUGE amount, but people always seemed to freak!)
Your besties around at all times, each night is a slumber party, there’s never a dull moment, there’s always enough people to make teams to play any game, etc., etc.,
But, if you’re in one, you probably know the cons as well as the many, beautiful pros!
I think what she is trying to relay, is this:
Although some are “looked down upon” for being in a family with ‘all those kids’ or for being ‘uneducated’ or to have not gone to college, those kinda people, are the ones who I admire most in this world! (Seriously!)
You are so valued in our eyes, when you’re “one of those homeschooled large families.” 🩵🩵🩵
Those are the best kinda families ever!!!!!!!
You can turn like, any age, but you’re still not “grown up.”
You do get looked at as a number instead of an individual, more than an ‘only child’, but it’s okay!

Sometimes a guy tells your Dad that “he fell in love with all the girls” and it’s like, people play the ol’ “eenie meenie miney mo”
with you, because they can’t see individuals, just “the girls.” ugh! so ridiculous! Anyway, I could ramble on forever! Sorry!
Here’s her post:

(Totally unrelated, but the Campbell’s goats are the star of this show) 😅

  1. I get it too! Although I don’t have a whole lot of siblings I understand the homeschooled thing. People treat you differently.
