Embracing Femininity 🩷

There’s a rather easy solution to men and women:

Men, be masculine. Women, be feminine.

It’s really not that deep! Women need to be feminine, womanly, woman-like and womanish. 🩷

Men need to be masculine, manly, and completely, well, guyish.

(Like, the other day we were picking up some 80 pound bags of concrete at Lowe’s, and a guy was like, “Step back, Ladies! I’ve got this.” He said it was what he wakes up for in the morning! Well, good. Because that’s the last thing I wake up for in the morning.)

There’s a beautiful demarcation between men and women, and we don’t need to confuse the two.

As women, we can embrace our Femininity by simply being the woman God has called us to be. We’re to remain soft, sensitive, graceful and loving. 🩷

True femininity allows for true masculinity to shine!✨

In order to embrace our feminine nature, we must allow the men to be as manly as possible. (I think that’s pretty neat…)

Not all good men are dreams or fairy tales… But for us as women, we don’t need to focus on what the men “should be doing”, we ought to focus more on what WE are to be doing, preparing and becoming for our future spouse.

You can’t be feminine if you don’t appreciate masculinity.

As much as we want men to be strong, brave, fight for what they believe, live and die for their faith and their God; we as women, need to make sure we’re backing the men up and being the women that God wants us to be. 🩵🩷🩵

The end of my rant.

P. S. I stole this pic from someone… 😉

  5. I think I agree.
And what exactly is your definition of manliness? Killing innocent animals, wearing a cowboy hat?
I think there’s more to it than that.

    1. My definition is of little importance, God’s Word defines what a man should be. I also don’t think that women should ever be fighting with men. No, I don’t think those are the only things that make a man a man.
(Of course, in the Bible David slew wild animals, and he was the only one man enough to fight Goliath.)
In answer, yes, there’s a whole lot more to it than that. Agreed. The way a man honours his Creator is of utmost importance.

    2. Oh, and besides, we all eat innocent animals every single day.
      (We’re not vegetarians…)

  6. A lot of what we think of as 'masculine' or 'feminine', is just worldly stereotyping. The world either tries to 'pin gender down' or tries to pretend that 'gender is just a social construct'. My own understanding is that if we all accept that 'the man is the head of the woman', then things will start to fall into place. It's possible to overthink these things. 😊

    1. I understand your sentiment…
The man is certainly the head of the woman per 1 Corinthians 11:3, etc.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 🩷
